Effortless Power

When we spar in Wing Chun, we learn to apply the principle of maximum efficiency even when we could easily overpower an opponent. Resisting and insisting with brute force is considered poor. Instead we seek to use the opponent's energy against them by leading their force to emptiness while simultaneously filling their weaknesses with our attacks. Therefore softness becomes the secret to effortless power.
