We are all familiar with Ip Man, but have you heard of his Sifu, Chan Wah-Shun?
Leung Jan's student, Chan Wah-Shun, called "Moneychanger Wah", owned a coin changing stall near Leung's herbal medicine clinic in Foshan. In around 1858 at age 25, Chan began training under Leung Jan and later went on to become one of his most prized students, winning many challenge fights, earning the nickname Bull.
He was very strong with an exceptionally strong grip from carrying heavy loads of coins around town every day.
