Bruce Lee was one of the first to acknowledge the similarities between Wing Chun and fencing. Jeet Kune Do, means the way of the intercepting fist. It is named after the stop hit (intercepting an opponent's attack on their preparation of attack), a key principal in both Wing Chun and fencing.
